Jean Eric was born in Mauritius and grew up in England. Arriving

in France in 1985, he worked as a graphic designer and then as an Creative Director until 2011 - the year he had a stroke. Since this stroke, the consequences of which are hemiplegia and aphasia,

he has fought to rebuild himself. Artist and communicator, this reconstruction goes largely through sculpture which offers him a great tool to express himself. Beyond the artistic approach, his sculpture shows how we can recover from an accident in life and adapt: he sculpts with one hand, which is not his dominant hand!

We can see through the evolution of his sculptures, the development of his dexterity and the refinement of his technique.
